Hi, I’m Jennie, a PTUK Certified Play and Creative Arts Therapist based in the Shropshire area. I have been supporting children, young people and their families since graduating with a BSc in Psychology in 2006. Through my various roles within schools, local authorities, independent fostering agencies and working alongside voluntary/charitable organisations, I have provided one-to-one, group and parent/carer therapeutic and emotional well-being support for a range of needs and ages from birth to 16.

With my Filial Play Coaching, Theraplay level one, Dyadic Development Practice, Psychotherapy and Parenting level one (DDP) training and family support experience, I have a particular interest in also providing parenting support to strengthen relationships by improving communication, empathy and understanding between parents/carers and their child(ren).

I am currently offering one-to-one Play and Creative Arts Therapy for children and young people as well as Filial Play coaching or Theraplay based sessions that support parents/carers in strengthening attachments and relationships.
