Sally Evans

I have twenty-one years of experience in working with children and young people. I began my career as a manager and registered person of an out of school club. I then moved into children’s services where I worked as a family support practitioner in Staffordshire and Telford and Wrekin. During this time, I became passionate about the therapeutic approach in supporting children and young people. I decided to train to be a play therapist as I knew my heart was in this field of work.

I am the founder of Oyster Interventions, and have years of experience helping children, young people and adults to thrive through therapeutic interventions; supporting them overcome a variety of issues, for example, behavioural issues, bereavement, low self-esteem, trauma and anxiety. I am a qualified certified play practitioner, currently completing my diploma in play therapy with PTUK. I will be a newly qualified play therapist in summer 2025. I am a fully qualified Drawing and Talking Practitioner.

I work in Telford, Shropshire and Staffordshire.
